Chapter 9

Queen of Sheba, as in 1K10.  A very much abbreviated history of the reign of Solomon.  It says other histories were written by Nathan the prophet, Ahijah the Shilonite, and Iddo the Seer.

2026 - I noticed this year that 2 Chronicles says nothing about Solomon's failures late in life nor about his infatuation with horses and women.  He did indeed defy God, when wisdom, of which he had had more than anyone ever did, dictated otherwise.  So the wisest man every, even he, chose the low road in the face of some temptations.  But 2 Chronicles is not where we learn about his failures.
