What can I say about this one...

2024 - He restoreth my soul...In Hebrew, the verb type is "imperfect", yiqtol in Hebrew.  It means the process is incomplete and ongoing.  Perhaps "he continually restores my soul" is closer to the real meaning being conveyed, but obviously it reads better as translated.  So this restoration of soul is not just a one time thing, it is something that the shepherd continually does for the sheep.  By his presence, his direction, his wisdom for our lives, He builds us up again and again in the face of hardship and adversity, and restores us so that we can continue to follow in his footsteps and do his will.
